Gas stoves; air-heating stoves.-A burner tube F is arranged concentrically within a cylindrical casing B of an air-heating gas-stove and carries a boss h, having outwardly and upwardly extending arms H which support a metal ring J preferably in' axial alignment with the burner tube F and spaced from the casing B by means of portions k cut and bent outwardly from the ring. An inverted conical flame spreader K is secured, preferably by screws m, to inclined portions of the arms H in axial alignment with the burner tube F and spaced from the ring J. The boss h, arms H, spreader K, and ring J may be cast in one piece. The casing B is supported on a plate A and is provided with openings x, X and a perforated flanged top plate D having integral projections e for supporting a utensil and covered in some cases by a perforated ornamental cover. The casing B is secured by screws to lugs c cut and bent upwardly from the plate A, which is provided with a flange a and Legs b. A gassupply pipe r passes through the flange a and is provided with an elbow f extending through a central opening in the plate A and screw-threaded internally and externally for the attachment of a nipple G and the burner tube F respectively. The upper ends of the arms H may be extended to, or slightly above, the top of the ring J outwardly to the casing and vertically to the top plate and then inwardly, and be secured to the top plate and the casing.
