Abstract
265,852. Lake, V. D. July 6, 1926. Heat distributers.-A heat economy device for use with gas rings and the like comprises a substantially annular hollow metal body a of substantially triangular cross-section the narrowest part of which forms a central opening b through which hot gases pass to impinge upon the base c of a utensil to be heated. The body a is preferably of larger diameter than the utensil which is raised a short distance above the upper surface of the body a by means such as downwardly bent tongues f on radial arms e secured to the outer periphery of the body a. The arms c also may be provided with one or more integral or separate rings g arranged concentrically and slightly above the opening b. The base d of the body a preferably is flat so that it may be placed upon the rails of a gas stove, or the body a or the arms e may be provided with integral or separate lugs i adapted to rest on the supports of a gas ring h or provided with means such as rings j for clipping on to the gas ring h.
