Abstract

868,277. Dutch ovens; spits. LAUFER, J. Dec. 10, 1959 [Feb. 15, 1959], No. 42051/59. Class 28 (1). An open back box carrying a roasting spit 6 is placed against e.g. an oil burning stove, the heat rays from which are reflected down on the spit by a curved reflector 9 backed by glass or rock wool. The spit may have a pin 30 entering one of holes 31 whereby the spit is held in adjusted position. A baffle 10 deflects fat into a tray 11. For gas burners the bottom of a similar box is open and laid to cover the gas burners from which heat is reflected, Fig. 4, not shown. Specification 413,348 is referred to.
