735,985. Binding-posts; mounting terminals; terminal boards. TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE. Sept. 16, 1953 [Sept. 19, 1952], No. 25653/53. Class 38 (1). A terminal comprises a resilient metal strip 1 bent as shown in Fig. 1 and inserted in a cavity in an insulating block 6 and retained therein by engagement of a projection 7 of the cavity wall in the space between the ends 1a, 1b of the strip 1. Conductors are clamped between nuts 4 and parts 1d, 1c of the strip 1 by means of screws 3, the ends of which are burred over. Two terminals are housed in one insulating block so shaped that the terminals are staggered to provide easy access to them, and several such blocks are threaded on a metal bar 9 which passes through holes 8 in the blocks.
