Abstract

735,589. Bulkhead lamps. COUGHTRIE, Ltd., J. & G. Feb. 26, 1954 [Feb. 26, 1953], No. 5373/53. Class 75 (4). [Also in Group XXXVI] A bulkhead lamp comprises a detachable lampholder 4 formed with a tongue 5 projecting at an angle to the axis of the holder, one face of the tongue having a recess 7, preferably of non- circular shape, engageable with an abutment 2 projecting into the interior of the lamp and provided with a clamping pin 12 adapted to be located in a longitudinal open-ended slot 6 in the end of the tongue. The pin 12 screws into the abutment 2 and a washer 13 at the head of the pin engages a circular recess in the tongue 5. The washer 13 is urged against the head of the pin by a spring 14, the other end of which abuts another washer which is a push fit on the pin.
