Abstract

1,089,592. Vehicle lamps. DAIMLERBENZ A.G. March 31, 1966 [April 6, 1965],- No. 14364/66. Heading F4R. A vehicle lamp comprises a casing 17 for mounting in a recess in the vehicle body 12, the casing being formed in one piece from elastic synthetic plastics and having a light permeable area or lens at one end and means at the other such as grooves or indentations for mounting it in an aperture in the vehicle body by virtue of its elasticity. The casing may have an internal groove to receive a plate 19 carry. ing one or more lamps 16. Where two or more lamps are used, the casing may be partitioned as at 18 the parts on opposite sides of the partition being differently coloured. A transluminous strip 21 may be inserted in an aperture 22 in the casing to serve as a warning light when the vehicle is stationary. In place of a hollow casing a block with one or more recesses may be used.
