[Class 118 (ii)] A road vehicle is provided with a pair of combined side-lamps and illuminable directionindicators, each having a transparent hollow arm 7 containing a lamp 8 outwardly movable from a housing 6. A portion of each arm is visible in all positions of the arm and serves as the side-lamp ; this portion may be a projecting part 10, Fig. 2, which may contain an additional lamp 18, or it may be visible through an aperture 15 in the housing, Fig. 4.
