A reflector 14 is provided for a lamp housing incorporating a recess 12 by forming an annulus of reflective foil with a segment removed, providing one side of the foil or the inner wall of the recess with an adhesive coating and locating the foil in the recess. The recess is preferably frustoconical and has at its base a bulb-holder.
