1382051 Vehicle lamps JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 28 March 1972 [24 April 1971] 11251/71 Heading F4R A vehicle lamp comprises a metal lamp body 11 closed by a lens 13 and in which is disposed a reflector 17 comprising a sheet 12 of transparent synthetic resin material with a metallized, reflective layer 18 formed on the surface thereof which faces the body 11 so that the metallized layer is disposed between the sheet 12 and the lamp body 11. The reflector 17, e.g. having a polycarbonate sheet 12 and an aluminized layer 18, may be secured by an adhesive to the body 11, and may be vacuum formed to a generally paraboloidal shape.
