537,877. Lamp-holders. ROBBINS, D. H. Feb. 16, 3940, No. 2952. [Class 38 (i)] Locking means for a bayonet cap lamp comprises a pin or projection 2 mounted in the side of a guard hood 1 surrounding the lamp holder a the pin &c. having a spring plunger 5 capable of moving into engagement with the bayonet slot in the holder.' The screw 2 is threaded into a boss 3 on the hood and is removed by a key that enters the boss and fits a non-circular stub 4. The plunger 5 may be formed so as to allow insertion of the lamp without withdrawing the screw. The key may have a screw thread that engages the pin and withdraws it.
