733,297. Paint-tin attachment. JENSON & NICHOLSON GROUP, Ltd., [formerly JENSON & NICHOLSON, Ltd.]. May 31, 1954 [Nov. 3, 1953; Nov. 14, 1953], Nos. 30336/53 and 31644/53. Class 66. An attachment for use with a paint tin or similar liquid container 4 comprises a flared tubular body 1 having at or near to its smaller end an external annular flange 2 with a peripheral skirt 3 adapted to be applied to the end of the container with its flange engaged by the rim, the skirted flange being adapted alone, e.g. by providing slits in its skirt, or in conjunction with auxiliary fixing means, e.g. clamping screws, to make retained engagement with the container. The smaller end of the flared body 1 may extend through and beyond the annular flange 2 or it may be provided with a right cylindrical extension to which the annular flange is attached. The edge 7 provides a scraper for brushes and the device enables the tin to be used as a paint kettle. A pivoted handle 9 may be provided and the embodiment shown may be made of spun aluminium.
