A gas control valve unit embodies a diaphragm gas governor, an automatic gas cut-off means operative when the pressure falls below a certain value and common means for manually cutting off and restoring the gas supply, the common means restoring the supply by reducing the pressure above the diaphragm. The control valve comprises a diaphragm c, weighted at v, carrying a cut-off valve e and a governor valve f with a pick-up load g, and manual means r with locking means o, p, q, whereby the valve e is closed through a spring u or a plunger n creates suction above the diaphragm for opening the valve e.
