731,663. Roller guide means for textile drawing apparatus. S K F KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GES. Sept. 25, 1950 [Feb. 25, 1949], No. 23498/50. Class 120(2). Guide means for pairs of top rolls in textile drawing apparatus include a front guide member 1 and a rear guide member 2 the latter being pivotally mounted in a holder 6 for movement in both a vertical plane and a plane parallel to the drawing zone and being formed of two arms 2a and 2b connected for limited pivotal movement relatively to one another in the vertical plane. In the arrangement shown in Figs. 3 and 4 the arms 2a and 2b are mounted with lateral play on a short pivot pin 2c, which swivels on a pin 4 thus the guide members 1 and 2 will always align with one another and will permit angular movement as well as lateral movements of the whole guide means. In the embodiment shown in Figs. 6 and 7 the shaft of the top roll 7, acting as a pivot connects the guide member 1 with the guide member 2, the arms 2a and 2b of the latter being formed with hooked ends 2d.
