726,688. Stoppers &c. DETSINY, R. Nov. 23, 1953 [Feb. 3, 1953], No. 3042/53. Class 125 (3). A sealing disc for use with a screw or like closure cap comprises a disc 1 with a concentric cylindrical projection 2 and concentric annular ribs 4, 5 on the upper face, the projection 2 fitting into the container mouth and an annular seating 3 resting on the rim. The disc may also support a wire frame 6 for a wick 8 whereby liquid in the container is brought into contact with the surrounding atmosphere, a neck portion 6a of the frame passing through an axial aperture 9 in the disc.
