[Also in Group II] In a hydro-extractor driven by a single-phase electric motor 2 a frictional coupling 6 and a centrifugal clutch 5 are provided between the motor shaft 4 and the rotary basket 3. The extractor is started by rotating the basket by hand to turn the motor shaft, and then switching on the motor, the clutch engaging at a predetermined motor speed so that the motor drives the basket.
