722,383. Letter plates. LYNDON BRASSFOUNDERS, Ltd. Oct. 15, 1953 [Oct. 15, 1952], No. 25797/52; Class 18. [Also in Group XXV] A plate 4 containing a postal aperture closed by a hinged flap 6 is provided with a door knocker 5 having a lug 10 which extends backwardly through an aperture 9 in the plate and is pivoted to a pair of lugs 8 located on the rear of the latter, an extension 12 of the lug 10 acting as a closure member for the aperture 9. The plate is also provided with a mounting 7 for a night latch.
