[Class 65 (i)] [Also in Group X] A hinged panel 1 is connected at or adjacent its free edge to a fixed part 10 by means of a link 8 made of rubber or other non-metallic resilient material. The link is so disposed in relation to the hinge axis that when the panel passes from one position to another the link is deformed or flared as the latter approaches a deadcentre position and expands or opens out as it moves away from the latter position, so as to retain the panel in the open or closed position.
