721,623. Lens turrets. BOLSEY, J. June 26, 1952 [July 9, 1951], No. 16100/52. Class 97 (1). A camera, photographic or kinematographic, includes ' a wall 11 having an exposure aperture 12 on the axis 13 and an annular bearing 18, formed partly in the wall and partly in a forward projection therefrom, in which a lens turret 19 to carry lenses with outwardly diverging axes is retained by the coverplate 25 overlying the turret periphery, the selected lens located in front of the aperture 12 having its axis coincident with the axis 13. The compartment between the wall 11 and the turret contains shutter and/or filter mechanism such as a shutter 15 driven by gearing from a shaft 17 or a filter disc 15 actuated by mechanism as described in Specification 701,889.
