Convention date, Aug. 30, 1930. [Classes 98 (i) and 98 (ii).] A filter 13, which may be a colour. selecting band filter for use in lenticular screen colour photography, or for use with optical dividing systems for producing separate colour records, is mounted so as to be freely rotatable about the axis of an objective 12 carried in a focusing mount 11 on a photographic camera or projector 10, and its centre of gravity is eccentric with respect to its axis of rotation so that it does not partake of the rotation of the objective during focusing. As shown, a colour-band filter 13 for lenticular screen work is mounted in a holder the front part of which carries an eccentric weight 22 and is mounted by a ball race on the rear part, which is screwed on the front end of the objective and is retained in position thereon by a locking-ring provided with an ear 24 having a milled edge to facilitate rotation of the objective for focusing. During this rotation, the weight 22 causes the filter to remain with its colour hands vertical and parallel to the lenticular elements of the film.
