972,697. Reflex cameras. VOIGTLANDER A.G. Dec. 14, 1960 [Dec. 14, 1959], No. 43123/60. Heading G2A. A single lens mirror reflex camera has a view finder portion comprising an observation magnifier, a roof prism, a matt disc, Fresnel lens or similar light dispersing member, and a part transparent, inclined, stationary, plane mirror, preferably mounted in a transparent block; these individual components of the finder portion from the mirror to the observation magnifier are all combined into a single constructional unit. In the camera shown, light passes through an objective 21, shutter 33, diaphragm 22 and a semi reflecting surface 24 where 60% of the light is transmitted via a shutter 32 on to a photosensitive surface 31 and 40% is reflected through a matt plate 25, a field lens 26, a pentaprism 27; eye piece 28, shutter 34 to the eye. Parts 24-28 are cemented together and the two shutters 32, 34 are operatively connected to each other.
