[Also in Group XXIX] To prevent oscillation of a float 14 controlling the level of a liquid, the float has attached to it, or incorporated in it, two open-ended chambers 10, 11 arranged vertically with their closed ends abutting and perforated by a small aperture 24 which connects the chambers and is situated at the normal water level when the float is in the corresponding position. The chambers 10, 11 may be attached to the float lever 15, and there may be more than one pair of chambers.
