Abstract
354,015. Drinking-appliances for animals. MENEZES, D. G. DE, 32, Rua dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro. June 27, 1930, No. 19625. Convention date, July 22, 1929. [Class 5 (ii).] A drinking-trough a has attached thereto, or formed integral therewith, a supply tank b of less depth than the trough provided with a valve h controlled by a float j. The trough and the supply tank communicate through an aperture at the base of the latter. A catch k can be used to hold the float out of operation. When the level in the main tank falls, water passes from the supply tank into the main tank, the float falling and causing an inflow from the main to the supply tank. The trough is supported on a stand d and the supply tank is provided with a cover.
