Abstract

710,831. Roof slabs; roofs. MOORE CORPORATION, L. C. Aug. 26, 1952 [Sept. 6, 1951], No. 21411/52. Classes 20 (4) and 87 (1) A metal roofing unit comprises a corrugated sheet 19 secured to a frame consisting of top and bottom angle members 2, 3 and side mem. bers 4, 5 of upright and inverted V-section respectively. The member 4 forms a gutter which receives the outer portion of the side member 5 of an adjacent unit. To provide waterproof horizontal joints, the gutter is provided with an extension 11 and the corrugated sheet 19 extends beyond the frame member 3. Angle strips 10 are provided to engage under the frame member 3 of an adjacent unit. The units may be secured to the roof structure by hook bolts engaging over rods 12.
