707,832. Cores for dynamo-electric machines. SIEMENS - SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES. May 22,1952 [May 24, 1951], No. 13014/52. Class 35 A D.C. dynamo-electric machine has a compensating winding in slots 4 in the pole-pieces 3 which are detachably secured to pole-cores 2 by bolts 5, as shown in Fig. 1. The pole-piece central tooth may be made wider than the other teeth in order to accommodate a bar 7 having a threaded bolt 10 extending through the pole-piece, the pole-core and the yoke; these bolts 10 engage nuts 11 lying in recesses in the yoke. The stator laminations. are held together by thin rivets and additionally secured by a solvent-free adhesive which is completely polymerized by heat-treatment.
