Abstract

863,904. Commutators for dynamo-electric machines. BOSCH G.m.b.H., R. Oct. 10, 1958 [Oct. 12, 1957], No. 32355/58. Class 35. Dovetails 24 on insulated segments 21 of a disc-type commutator are gripped by the bentin flanges 27, 28 of an annular disc 26. The disc 26 may be bolted or spot welded (as shown at 33, 34) to a shaft-mounting disc 31, 32. In a modification a dovetail ring is bolted to the disc 31, 32 and lugs depending from the segments are bent to embrace each side of this ring.
