Class 78 (3) The laterally movable arms 1 mounted on the lifting carriage 8 of a lifting or stacking truck (not shown), have self-aligning load engaging arms 9 pivoted thereto about axes 11. As shown, the arms 9 each have two hard rubber pads 17 shaped to enable the device to handle drums, singly, or in groups of two and four. but in a modification (not shown) flat surface pads are provided for handling bones.
