Abstract

937,503. Fork lift trucks. A. T. VAN HUET. Aug. 10, 1960 [June 18, 1960], No. 27719/60. Class 78 (3). A brick fork 5 for a masted lift truck is supported by an arm 4 movable by a ram 7, 8 along a beam 3 which is mounted for lateral adjustment on the lifting carriage of the truck, the fork being connected to arm 4 by a pin-andslot coupling, and having grippers (not shown) which are extended into engagement with the lower bricks of a stack during initial upward movement of the carriage by a rope 15 attached to the fork and beam 3. The fork has a back frame covered with wire mesh (not shown), and side wings 14. Specification 799,470 is referred to.
