Abstract
703,743. Valves. MAMOLI, S. Feb. 13, 1952, [Feb. 16, 1951], No. 3798/52. Class 135 A water delivery control device comprises a frame member with unions for securing it to the ends of supply and delivery pipes, a valve housing within the member removably connected to the unions and having passages communicating between the pipes and controlled by valve means actuated by push buttons from outside the frame member. A box 10, Fig. 1, to which the cold and hot water supply pipes and delivery pipe 13, 14, 15 respectively are connected, is sunk in a wall and contains a mixing valve device 20, Figs. 1 and 3, connected at 21, 22 to the supply pipes and at 23 to the delivery pipe. Each inlet from the supply has a seat 57 controlled by a non- rotatable, axially movable valve member 54 which is operated through a screw or a cam 60 on the valve member co-operating with a cam 61 on a spindle 63. The spindles carry rocking arms 24, 25, which are engaged and operated respectively by rods 31, 32 and 33, 34, depending from push buttons 27, 28, and 29, 30, in a cover box plate 26, the push buttons projecting through an opening 43 in another plate 40.
