Classes, 6 (1) and 6 (3) A machine for hoeing under fruit bushes or for singling root crops or topping beet comprises a power shaft S mounted' an an L-shaped framework 4 and connected to a tractor, power shaft 9 and driving by belt and pulley. gearing an implement in the form of a dished' disc 17 provided with tangential blades 18. The frame 4 is attached by a cable 21 to a jib, I mounted on the tractor power lifting links 2 and supported by a cable 3. The depth of working of the disc 17 is adjusted by moving the position of the jib 1 by means of the links 2. The part of the frame 4 on which the disc 17 is mounted projects laterally with respect to the tractor and the tool may be guided laterally to work under fruit bushes by means of handles 22. The machine may be used for trimming down stream banks and sides of drains.
