Abstract
756,615. Agricultural implements. DEDE, G. June 11, 1954 [June 13, 1953], No. 17213/54. Class 6 (1). An agricultural implement for cultivating between rows of growing plants comprises disc tools 22 supported by tubular members 21 mounted on a frame 10 attached to a tractor by means of a universal coupling 12. The discs 22 are mounted on shafts 31 driven by gearing from vertical shafts mounted inside the members 21 and co-operating with a transverse shaft 27 driven by means of a shaft 24 from the tractor power shaft. Hand wheels 13 are mounted on levers 14 pivoted on the frame 10 and raised or lowered by means of a shaft 18 which is rotated by a power lift and is connected to the levers 14 by means of levers 17 and links 16. The power lift mechanism is driven from shaft 24 and comprises a block 38 connected to a lever 20 pivoted on an arm fixed to shaft 18. The block 38 is moved by a screwed rod 32 which co-operates with a tapped hole in the block and is rotated in either direction by gearing and clutches from the shaft 24.
