Abstract
699,568. Refrigerating. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Sept. 16, 1952 [Sept. 20, 1951], No. 23240/52. Class 29 In the suction pipe 10, 11, of a compression refrigerating system is located, in a relatively warm location such as the machinery compartment, a receiver 9 for mixed lubricant and refrigerant, the refrigerant being boiled off by the heat and the vapour streaming between the lower edge of a pendant baffle 14 and the surface of the lubricant to entrain lubricant from the latter and carry it into the suction pipe 11 leading to the compressor. Preferred dimensions for the various parts are described.
