Abstract
392,184. Lubricating. SERVEL, Inc., 51, East 42nd Street, New York, U.S.A. Oct. 7, 1931, No. 27855. Convention date, Oct. 7, 1930. [Class 12 (iii).] A wick 24 or capillary syphon transfers lubricant from the evaporator 10 of a refrigerating machine to a chamber 15 connected to the suction line 18 of the compressor. The bottom of chamber 15 is connected with the pipe 18 by ports 22, 23 so that the refrigerant vapour entrains the lubricant with it back to the compressor. A wall 16 with an aperture 17 for the wick separates the chamber 15 from the evaporator 10.
