418,431. Refrigerating. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. June 28, 1934, No. 19124. Convention date, July 1, 1933. [Class 29.] Evaporators.-A shelf 17 having a conduit 28 formed in it is secured to a refrigerant evaporator 14, and the liquid refrigerant is supplied to this conduit and passes from it through connection 23 to the evaporator proper, the evaporated refrigerant leaving by connection 24. The evaporator is formed from two U-shaped metal shells 25 and 26. The shell 26 is provided with corrugations 27 which form refrigerant passages when shell 25 is fitted into shell 26. Both of the shells are provided with corrugations which combine to form headers 19 and 20 ; the latter are connected by a tube 21.
