582,227. Refrigerating. GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION. June 16,1944, No. 11485. Convention date, June 30, 1943. [Class 29] Compression systems: - Moisture collected from air in an air-cooler is employed to cool the compressed refrigerant in a coil 42 located in a pan 44 in which the moisture is collected, and entrained lubricant is delivered with the cooled vapour to the crank case 38 of the compressor 32 where the lubricant is deposited. The vapour passes on by a pipe 48 to the air cooled condenser 30, which may be locates near a window. Cooling-air for the condenser is circulated by a fan 25 and the moisture evaporated from the pan is discharged with the cooling-air. The air to be cooled is circulated By another fan 24 over the evaporator 18.
