697,119. Gas turbine plant. SZYDLOWSKI, J. Feb. 16, 1951 [Feb. 22, 1950], No. 3854/51. Class 110(iii) A compressed air generator set comprises a combustion chamber 6 as described in Specification 686,908 and a radial-flow compressor 1 driven by a turbine 7 not adapted to provide excess power wherein the compressed air additional to that required in the combustion chamber is collected in an annular chamber 5 which surrounds the casing of the combustion chamber and communicates therewith through ports. The annular chamber 5 constitutes a volute having a tapping 11. The turbine 7 may be of the multi- or single-stage type.
