[Classes 110 (i) and 110 (iii)] In a gas turbine plant, for jet-propulsion of aircraft, comprising a compressor 48, combustion chambers 40 and turbine 28, a contra-rotational exhaust turbine 60, 56 is added which carries contrarotational bladings 79, 78 of a jet-augmenter arranged within a separate annular duct 87. The wall 85 separating the duct 87 from the turbine exhaust duct may continue to the point of final discharge, or, may be stopped short of that point so that the two streams may mix before discharge.
