[Class 110 (iii)] In a jet-propulsion plant for aircraft, the exhaust from the turbine 28, which drives the compressor 11, passes through contra-rotating turbine bladings 61, 57 before reaching the propulsion jet 37. These bladings are carried by rotors 60, 56 which drive contra-rotating air-screws 65, 66 through a gear-box 62.
