586,710. Gas turbines. ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY MOTORS, Ltd., and HEPPNER, F. A. M. Aug. 22, 1942, No. 11851. Drawings to Specification. [Class 110 (iii)] In a gas turbine plant, intermediate points in the axial flow compressor are connected to intermediate points, one of which may be the exhaust of the turbine through which, at low speeds, air passes. The connections are controlled by valves actuated by a servo-motor responsive to the ratio of the pressures at two selected points in the compressor. Specification 596,277 is referred to.
