Abstract

689,124. Hand trucks. WARRY, Ltd., R. F. Oct. 3, 1951 [Oct. 30, 1950], No. 26455/50. Class 108 (i). A brick truck has a fixed jaw 13 secured to the cross-brace 8 and a movable jaw 11 carried by the lever 10 pivoted at 12 to the cross-brace 8. Closing the jaws to grip the load is effected by raising the pivoted lever 15 by means of the hand-grip 14, thus causing the abutment pin 18 to rotate the lever 10 anti-clockwise about its pivot pin 12. Pin 20 which limits the over centre movement of the lever 15 is adjustable and the pin 18 can be accommodated in holes 19 to enable different size loads to be carried.
