Abstract

627,362. Hand trucks. WARRY, R. F. June 23, 1947, No. 16521. [Class 108 (i)] A wheeled hand truck is provided at its lower end with two forwardlyprojecting load - gripping members 11, 12, and with manually - actuated lever means 9 to cause the members to grip the load, and the truck is characterized in that the lever means 9 extends upwardly along the truck and is pivoted at 19 nearer its lower end, the lower extremity of the lever 9 carrying the loadgripping member 11. The ratchet 7 is provided to lock the lever 9 in position.
