Abstract

An eye pad comprises a compressible absorbent wad in a flexible cover wrapped around the wad and having its overlapping ends secured by adhesive. Preferably the cover is of non-woven fibre and is so placed around the wad as to leave the ends open. p An excess of adhesive may be used which will secure the cover to the filler material. Suitable absorbent materials are cotton, cotton batting, alpha cellulose, rayon or matted rayon.
