551,389. Menstrual pads. ROWE, R. E. S. Feb. 20, 1942, No. 2283. [Class 81 (ii)] A single-use pad comprises a wad 2 of absorbent material and a gauze wrapper 3 enclosing the wad. The gauze has permanently attached to it a skin 4 of highly flexible material of film thickness, or a solution of the material may be sprayed &c. on the gauze and dried. The pad is so wrapped that it can easily be separated into portions to facilitate disposal of the used pad.
