[Class 81 (ii)] A first-aid dressing comprises a stretchable adhesivecoated backing and a pad or compress of stretchable material, e.g. stockinette, laid on the backing so as to stretch correspondingly. The backing may stretch more in one direction than another in which case the pad is laid so as to stretch in this direction. The dressing can be applied e.g. to a finger joint.
