684,280. Coated fabrics. ARNOLD, J. C. (Bonafide Mills, Inc.). Sept. 29, 1950. No. 23916/50. Addition 681,641, [Group V]. Class 140. A coated sheet is prepared by applying to a base sheet the composition of the parent Specification. The base sheet is preferably a bitumen saturated felt, and the composition is applied thereto a single layer at a temperature between 200‹ and 300 ‹F. The felt 24 passes between doctor rolls 20, which is heated, and 22, then passes around a cooling drum 30 and thence to drying racks 32 of a drier 34. maintained at 150‹-200‹F. The hot composition is delivered immediately prior to the doctor rolls.
