Class 3(i) In a destination indicator in which at least one pair of winding rollers carrying a blind between them are driven each in one direction only through helical pinions 9 from a common driving shaft 21, the pinion bearer sleeve 10 has interlocking engagement with its housing or other carrier part to be held against rotation in its desired position. A casing 2 contains the helical pinion 9 which is slidably and rotatably mounted on the sleeve 10 one end of which fits intc a recess 14 in a removable bearing member 11 or in the casing wall. The recess 14 has teeth 15 which engage slots 13 in the sleeve to prevent its rotation. A stub shaft 18 having a square end 19 to engage a roller shaft passes through the sleeve and its other end is journalled on a second removable bearing member 11. The pinion 9 is rotated by a helical gear fixed to a shaft 7 and in one direction the end thrust of this type of gearing causes teeth 16 on the face of the gear 9 to engage teeth 17 on the shaft 18 to drive it. The shaft 7 is mounted in bearings similar to the bearings 11 and each bearing is held in position by crimping the edges of the housing. Two gear boxes having opposite directions of driven rotation may be driven from a handle 28 through a gear box 25 and detachable shafts 21. The shafts 21 have pin and socket connections with collars on the gear box driving shafts.
