673,673. Ventilators for glass-houses or the like. TUCKER (TOTTENHAM), Ltd., D., and TUCKER, W. D. May 8, 1950 [May 24, 1949], No. 13813/49. Class 137. An opening or closing mechanism for ventilators in glass-houses or the like comprises an angle-frame 10 having a slotted hub 11 at its apex by which it is pivotally and removably mounted on a bracket 21 screwed to the seat 20 of the ventilator, and a thrust arm 27 terminating in balls 28 and 29 which are respectively engaged in a socket 32 screwed to the movable part 36 of the ventilator'and in a housing on one end 16 of the angle frame 10, the mechanism being operated by a link or cable attached to the other end 14 of the angle frame. The socket 32 and the housing on the end 16 of the angle frame are provided with slots to enable the thrust arm 27 to be removed therefrom. A stop 13 is provided on the hub 11 to limit the opening movement.
