Abstract

671,134. Aerial ropeways. SCHULE, A. Jan. 30, 1950. [Feb. 4, 1949] No. 2375/50. Class 104 (ii). [Also in Group XXV] A transporting hook, having a helical end 10 for attaching the hook to a transporting and supporting rope 2 of an aerial ropeway, the axes of rotation of the supporting and guiding sheaves for which are horizontal or inclined at any angle thereto, has two limbs 9a, 9b, of which 9a projects in a horizontal plane perpendicular to the rope and 9b lies parallel to the rope, and carries at least one vertically disposed arm 8 provided with means at its lower end for holding a load. One or more arms 8, formed straight, Fig. 1, or bent, Fig. 2 (not shown), at their upper end, are suspended from a pivot pin 11 by a socket located between a collar 12 and a cotter pin passing transversely through pin 11.
