[Class 52 (v)] A coat or like hanger comprises a supporting wire 5 with bulbous ends 5a, 5b and a suspension hook 7 having a bulbous end 7a the bulbous ends being retained in adjacency within the junction of the branches of a T-shaped socket formed in a connecting plate 6. The plate may have closure flaps 8 held by rivets 9.
