Abstract

602,083. Coat hangers. MOTHERSILL, J., and MOTHERSILL, A. V. Dec. 18,1945, No. 34206. [Class 52(v)] A centrally suspended garment hanger comprises a straight tubular element 2 having a slot 10 to receive a lower extension of a flat metal clip 6 bent at the upper end to form a positive non-creeping grip for engaging a clothes line. The clip is held within the slot by split rings. Telescopic tubular extensions 3 may be provided. The hanger parts may be of metal or plastic material, and may be provided with spring clips &c. for gripping the garment.
