663,463. Hydraulic couplings. SCHROEDER, F. H., HOLLAND, J., and GIBSON (ELECTRICAL) CO., PROPRIETARY, Ltd., A. H. June 17,1948 [June 17, 1947], No. 16356/49. Class 69 (ii). The outer end of the shaft 4 of a driving rotor 1 positioned between a driven rotor 2 and a cover 8 extending over the rotor 1 and secured to the outer circumferential portion of the rotor 2, comprises a sleeve 5 in which is secured by a setscrew 7, or other securing means, the shaft 6 of a motor or other prime mover. The driven shaft 10 may be engaged in a hub 8a of the cover ; alternatively, the drive is transmitted by single or multiple pulleys or gear teeth 15, 16 or 17. The vanes 3 may be curved, radial or angularly disposed with reference to the radial position.
